Give Blessing Bags Day

Join us on Saturday September 7th from 10am to 2pm at the McCrorey YMCA

Help us pack 1000 blessing bags for the community.

*Once all parking spaces are occupied, participants can head to our "overflow" parking lot. This is 0.7 miles away (less than 2 min drive) to Friendship Baptist Church. We have provided FREE shuttle rides every 5 minutes courtesy of JustHer Rideshare.

DETAILED INFO:

  • We will pack 250 blessing bags each hour—at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. 

  • We are expecting 500+ attendees.

  • Bring the kids! The 'Kids Zone' will include (2) bouncy houses by Laff House, games, face painting by Jason Sword & FUN.

  • 2 Food Trucks:  Marli Q's Jamaican cuisine and Taco Soul. 

  • We have AWESOME entertainment coming to perform + Queen City Classic Cars showcase.

  • DJ Krazy T will keep us dancing all day plus we have TONS OF GIVEAWAYS.

  • Weather permitting, we will be outside on the soccer field. Please dress appropriately for the heat. *We will provide FREE water for all who attend courtesy of Elevation Church. 

  • Restrooms will be available near the parking lot. The YMCA is only available to Y-members.

This will be a fun-filled festival experience also celebrating 10 years of serving the Charlotte community. Give Blessing Bags is the outreach arm of Stolen Lunches Inc. which is a 501c3 Ministry which means to steal away and be fed by God specializing in Bible Studies.
